Community

As ReaderLink’s book distribution services’ success and reach continue to grow, we understand the importance of prioritizing our efforts and resources to our local communities. Our ReaderLink Cares initiative supports causes relating to reading and literacy, health and human services, as well as animal welfare.

Since its launch, ReaderLink has donated almost $10 million in books to disadvantaged families, addressing a critical gap, and instilling the love of reading to a new generation. We have also raised and donated millions of dollars to the communities that support us and our workers.

At ReaderLink, we encourage our employees to get as involved as possible. Our employees have embraced the company’s philanthropic efforts through the United Way, employee giving campaigns, and Giving Tuesday matching grants.

ReaderLink and its management have been recognized by The UJA-Federation, Family Focus, and the Foreign Policy Association, helping to raise over $3 million for these causes.

Cares

When it comes to ReaderLink Cares, we’ve only just begun. The ReaderLink Cares Volunteer Program recently kicked off in Oak Brook where the team made sandwiches for the homeless and provided support for Misericordia Family Fest in Chicago.

One of our most recent projects involves committing $25,000 to remodel a Boys and Girls Club in San Diego. We hope to expand all programs to additional ReaderLink locations across the country. Through volunteerism and charity, we are dedicated to helping our communities.
